Carlo Vasile

Carlo has extensive and recognised experience in the design and implementation of internal control systems for listed companies (Law 262/05) and subsidiaries of SEC-registered listed companies (SOX).
For large industrial and commercial groups, he deals with issues such as risk assessment including ESG factors, the design of control matrices (RCM), and the design of administrative accounting procedures.

He is responsible for outsourced ‘RIA’ internal audit for various clients, supported by his team in carrying out audit activities.

He holds positions as a Statutory Auditor and as a member of various Boards of Statutory Auditors.

The range of companies he advises is very broad: manufacturing, food, retail, healthcare, and various start-ups.

BACKGROUND

Carlo began his career at Ernst & Young in 2001, joining the corporate audit department and developing specific expertise in the industrial and commercial sectors. Since January 2007, Carlo has been a Statutory Auditor.

In 2014, he founded VIVIDA.

Adjunct lecturer on the “Master’s in Audit, Accounting and Sustainability Reporting” programme organised by the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan. Lecturer at the ALTIS Graduate School of Sustainable Management.

Through VIVIDA, he has been an Organisational Stakeholder of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) since 2012.

Carlo graduated with first-class honours in 2001 from the University of Pavia, Faculty of Economics, with a thesis entitled “Mission Statements and Social Reporting in the Third Sector. The Experience of Banking Foundations”.
