For over 25 years, Luigi has been involved in the analysis of financial statements and historical and forward-looking business performance, as well as various valuation aspects and the underlying management control systems. Financial statement audits and fraud investigations round out his expertise, complemented by an in-depth knowledge of national and international accounting standards.
His experience spans in particular the worlds of transactions, listing processes and valuation.
He has participated in numerous complex projects involving carve-outs, price adjustments and fraud-related analyses.
Luigi works primarily with private equity funds and in club deal contexts.
BACKGROUND
Luigi began his career at Ernst & Young in 2001, joining the corporate audit department, and from 2005 onwards contributed to the growth of the transaction division.
In 2011, he founded Epyon and took on the role of Partner.
Luigi has been a Chartered Accountant since January 2007, a Certified Public Accountant since September 2013, and a Court-Appointed Expert at the Court of Milan since 2017.
He graduated with honours in 2001 from the Catholic University of Milan with a degree in Economics (professional track), writing his thesis on Auditing.
